I’ve been shaped as a pastor by communities of faith who showed me that we can bring our full selves and all of our life experiences as we encourage each other to follow Jesus. For me, church is where we remind each other that all of our stories are part of God’s story of love for the world. It is my privilege to walk with senior adults, and others, to listen and watch together for God’s presence. In addition to Waterford, I serve as co-pastor at Faith Mennonite Church in Goshen, where I’ve been since 2003. I was on the pastoral staff at Zion Mennonite Church in Souderton, Pennsylvania, and at Goshen City Church of the Brethren. I earned a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, where I met my wife, Annette. We enjoy hanging out with our two daughters, community theater, and hiking. I also like to run; play the drums; and have conversations about theology, music and ridiculous TV shows.
